“Surprising. Life-changing.” These are the deliberate words that Joe Loomer uses to describe the impact of his wife, Kim’s, breast cancer on their family.
Despite the hardships of Kim’s and the family’s breast cancer journey, Joe recognizes “a lot of blessings” along the way such as access to amazing resources at the Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University, including information, the nurse navigator and the care team. Today Kim is cancer free.
