An employee vaccine clinic will be held from 1-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, for employees who have not been vaccinated, or who are immunocompromised and received their second dose more than 28 days ago.

Great news! On Monday the Pfizer vaccine received official FDA approval. Augusta University Health will be administering the COVID-19 vaccine for employees to receive the first or second dose, as well as a third dose for those that attest to eligibility requirements on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, from 1-4:30 p.m. in Professional Building 1.

Individuals meeting CDC guidelines for being immunocompromised and have received their second dose more than 28 days ago are eligible to receive the third dose.

We really want to stress the importance of getting the vaccine prior to the start of flu season to protect our employees from COVID as we head into the fall and winter. All AU and AU Health employees are eligible. Please sign up for appointments here.
