Beginning May 1, departments across the university system can participate in our fifth annual May is for Miracles. This month-long celebration generates awareness for our Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals partnership and raises funds for Children’s Hospital of Georgia.

2021 Display Contest Winner: Children’s Hospital of Georgia Pediatric Practice won Best Display and Most Money Raised

All departments who participate in this campaign begin with 50 paper Children’s Miracle Network icon balloons. To receive additional balloons, departments sell balloons to their vendors, friends and family for no less than $1. Using these icon balloons, departments make a creative display – so the more balloons you sell, the more elaborate you can make your creation!

This year, participating departments compete for four awards – Best Overall Display, Most Creative Display, Most Interactive Display and Most Money Raised. Our judges panel will include a representative from hospital leadership, a representative from one of our local CMN partners, and a Children’s Hospital of Georgia Miracle Kid. All funds for May is for Miracles benefit Children’s Hospital of Georgia, your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
