Recruiting and retaining talented staff are critical to the care that our patients receive and to the success of AU Health. The hospital’s Shared Governance Operations Council has made retention and recruitment our primary initiative. This past year we held listening sessions to get feedback from staff around retention and recruitment.
Based on the feedback from those sessions, our council advocated for raises, PTO buyout at 100%, improved access to care and more options for benefits. We have also started a taskforce focused on communication and improving the sharing of information that is important to you.
In order to best guide the Operation Council’s efforts for the upcoming year, we are sending out a retention and recruitment survey. Please complete and let us know what is important to you. Your opinion matters, and we want to hear it.
