After learning you’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer, life can become very overwhelming, very quickly. For Kim it was a “whirlwind.”
When you ask her about her battle with breast cancer she’ll often say “we” and “us” because she believes that breast cancer hijacks the whole family. But she and her family were prepared and together with the help of the Georgia Cancer Center she has thrived.
She’d like other women to know that even though lives can get very busy, women need to make mammograms a priority and that there are so many survivors and supporters that can help you heal.
