Children are not just little adults. They have their own unique healthcare needs, and Children’s Hospital of Georgia is the second largest – and one of four – hospitals in Georgia designed to meet those needs.
Georgia Trend Magazine featured Children’s in its December 2021 edition, and chose Pediatrician-In-Chief Dr. Valera Hudson for its cover.
The article discusses the unique needs of pediatric patients and how each of the four hospitals is positioned to care for them. Hudson touted the growth of the pediatric heart program amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and a developing program aimed at addressing pediatric mental and behavioral health.
