Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home has received Pinnacle Quality Insight’s 2022 Customer Experience Award in 15 categories, placing it among the top 15 percent of nursing homes nationwide.
This is the sixth time in eight years Georgia War has received this award.
Over the past 12 months, Pinnacle Quality Insight interviewed residents and their families regarding their satisfaction levels on several aspects of received services. Based on these interviews, Georgia War qualified for a Pinnacle Customer Experience Award in 15 out of 16 service areas, including overall satisfaction, nursing care, cleanliness, safety and security and response to problems.
“This is an exceptional achievement and a ‘Best Finish’ for Georgia War,” said Executive Director Carlton Deese. “As this has been another atypical year with the pandemic, this achievement serves as validation of our staff’s continued efforts and commitment to provide excellent care to our nation’s heroes.”
For more than 50 years, Georgia War has served veterans as a 192-bed skilled nursing facility, owned jointly by the Georgia Department of Veterans Service and operated by AU Health in partnership with Augusta University.
Pinnacle is a customer satisfaction measurement firm that conducts more that 150,000 surveys each year. They work with more than 2,500 care providers in 50 states, Canada and Puerto Rico.
