Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under 15, according to the American Childhood Cancer Society.
To help find a cure, 12 guests and employees Braved the Shave at Children’s Hospital of Georgia Aug. 30. For a donation of $100 or more, a stylist from Great Clips shaved their heads or beards. The annual fundraising event raised $11,751 for pediatric cancer patients at Children’s.
