Children’s Hospital of Georgia in need of new costume donations ahead of Halloween

The Children’s Hospital of Georgia is gearing up for Halloween weekend, but we need the community’s help getting our kids dressed up to celebrate!

Children’s is looking for brand new costumes, which can range in sizes from infant to 2XL. The hospital cannot accept any costumes that have been used or from a thrift store. The hospital will need costume donations by Friday, Oct. 28, in order to be ready for Halloween day.

These patients aren’t able to enjoy a regular Halloween experience, so we want to give them the best event possible! This year’s event will go back to its original format, where patients and their families will go around the hospital to different stations set up by AU Health and Children’s Hospital staff members and volunteers. These plans may change based on current levels of COVID and flu in the hospital.

Costumes can be mailed to the hospital, or you can set up an appointment with Stephanie Grayson through email at sgrayson@augusta.edu. Children’s has also set up an Amazon Wishlist which has costumes on it, if you’d like to purchase from there.
