Megan Furno has accepted the role of Director of Operational Excellence. She will have interim administrative oversight of Data Integrity and Analytics and the Enterprise Project Management Office.
Megan Furno has been named Director of Operational Excellence.
Furno will work directly with leaders across AU Health to identify and execute business process improvement opportunities and develop strategy for operational improvement and project management. She will report directly to AU Health’s VP and Chief Strategy Officer Jennifer Miller.
“Megan is a proven leader who will align business data and analytics with strategy to ensure we maximize efficiency, improve effectiveness and eliminate waste,” Miller said.
Furno has been at AU Health since 2011 in progressive roles within project management and process improvement. She earned a bachelor’s in Health Information and a masters in public health with a concentration in health management, as is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Additionally, Andrew Harper has been named Manager of Data Analytics.
